How Much Does Pest Control Cost in Singapore in 2026?

Updated 2026-11-08 · PestList Singapore

Short answer: Published Singapore price lists put general pest control from S$120 a treatment and a one-off ant or cockroach treatment at S$140 for an HDB flat. Bed bugs cost S$450 to S$1,500 for two treatments, rats and mice S$450 to S$500 for four weekly visits, mosquito control from S$200 a treatment and termite baiting from S$700 a year. The pest, the size of your home, the number of visits and the method move the figure.

The published figures

Two Singapore pest control companies publish price lists. Both were read on 8 November 2026. Each figure is shown with its source, not averaged:

Both lists call their prices indicative. Rentokil says the final price depends on property size, how bad the infestation is and the treatment type. Protect Pest Control says its prices are not final.

What moves the price

  • The pest. Different pests need different treatments, so a cockroach job and a rat job are priced differently (Rentokil).
  • The size and type of home. Protect Pest Control’s list prices by HDB room count, condominium, terrace, semi-detached house and bungalow, and by the number of storeys. Bed bugs run from S$450 in an HDB 3-room flat to S$1,500 in a three-storey bungalow.
  • The number of visits. Getting rid of rats often takes several visits (Rentokil). Protect Pest Control’s rat and mouse price covers four weekly visits, and its bed bug prices include two treatments.
  • The method. Treating bed bugs with insecticide is priced differently from heat treatment (Rentokil, same page). For termites, foaming, baiting and soil treatment start at different prices: see termite treatment in Singapore.
  • One-off or contract. Protect Pest Control’s contract prices are for 12 months. In an HDB flat, one ant treatment is S$140 and a 12-month bi-monthly contract is S$520.

HDB flat or landed home

Inside an HDB flat, the upkeep is yours. Your Town Council looks after the areas outside it, such as corridors and void decks (MyNiceHome, HDB). If the pests seem to come from a common area, tell your Town Council as well as booking a company.

Landed homes are priced by house type and storeys on the published list, so give both when you ask for a quote. A one-off cockroach treatment runs from S$150 for a one-storey terrace to S$230 for a three-storey bungalow (Protect Pest Control).

Licensing comes before price

Only companies registered with the National Environment Agency as Vector Control Operators can be engaged for vector control work, and NEA publishes the list of registered operators (NEA). Check the company on that list before you compare prices. See questions to ask a pest control company for the rest.

How to use the figures

Use them to sanity-check a quote, not to set one. A quote far above a range is a reason to ask what is included, visit by visit. A quote far below one may cover fewer visits, fewer rooms or a different method. Starting prices are starting prices: the published lists say so themselves.

Checklist before you book

  • Name the pest, and take a photo of it if you can.
  • Know your home type: HDB room count, condominium, or landed with the number of storeys.
  • Ask how many visits the price covers, and over how many weeks.
  • Ask for the one-off price and the 12-month contract price side by side.
  • Check the company on NEA’s list of registered Vector Control Operators.
  • Get two or three quotes in writing, for the same pest, rooms and visits.

More questions

Is a pest control contract cheaper than one-off visits?

Only if you need regular visits. One published list charges S$140 for a one-off ant or cockroach treatment in an HDB flat and S$520 for a 12-month bi-monthly contract.

Why do some quotes come in far lower than others?

A lower quote may cover fewer visits, fewer rooms or a different method. Ask for what is included in writing, and check that the company is registered with NEA.
